ISSA GCU is the gathering place for individuals interested in developing their knowledge of the issues, skills and techniques involved in creating and maintaining Healthy, High Performance facilities. The University also offers the only industry title that recognizes sales and training professionals for their green expertise: ISSA Green Cleaning Professional. GCU’s 10 comprehensive courses are applicable to all interested persons including manufacturers, distributors, service providers, building managers and owners, advocates, government officials, and others.

Our goal is to provide sales and other industry professionals with the information and insights they need to succeed in the marketplace.

ISSA GCU represents a partnership between ISSA and GCU, which was founded in 2006 by David R. Holly and Stephen P. Ashkin. ISSA’s partnership with GCU leverages the strengths of both organizations and promotes the adoption of cleaning programs that protect human health while minimizing overall environmental impacts.
